ABOUT US

Mountain Premier Contracting and Demolition Ltd. has been operating in its current capacity since December 2013.  In that time, we have undertaken many environmentally conscious projects under the guidance of founder and CEO, Jordan Rowand.

Jordan grew up living at a marina, and owned his first boat at 8 years old. He spent time out on commercial fishing vessels before gaining a background in steel fabrication, scrap and heavy lift industries, and he holds many relevant certifications and qualifications, including ships operations, surveying, tug operations and dead vessel towing, supervisory asbestos and lead abatement certifications, OHS and WHMIS.

Under Jordan’s leadership, Mountain Premier Contracting and Demolition Ltd. has fostered strong working relationships with the Vancouver Coast Guard and the Provincial Government, as we have shown ourselves to be an environmentally conscious company with a focus on environmental stewardship.

Mountain Premier has been involved with the Artificial Reef Society of B.C., donating services in 2015 for the Sinking of the Annapolis near Gambier Island, B.C. and we are proud of our involvement in a project designed to increase marine life in the area.  We won the Silverdale Salvage contract in October 2018 (a project we are currently undertaking), we have built marinas, installed marine infrastructure, and decommissioned rotting vessels, removing contaminants from environmentally sensitive areas; we have a wide and varied skill-set and are the best people for this type of vital work in the Lower Mainland.
